I Couldn't Help Myself...

So, I was browsing around just telling myself I will only swatch a few items and buy the products I needed for my clients. That didn't last long! I ended up buying some items for myself and had to share!

First,  from MAC's Glitter and Ice Collection I bought a few things:
From L-R: Let's Skate Paint pot, Morning Frost Paint pot & Double Spin Lipstick

I'm a complete sucker for packaging and I love the clean, cool, elegant feel to the packaging. I ended up buying two paint pots.

Let's Skate is a stunning milky pink paint pot. Usually, I would use paint pot's as a base, but this shade looks amazing on it's own. It looks like your lids have a sprinkling of sparkling snow on them, subtle, stunning and unique.

Gorgeous metallic and creamy, Morning Frost, is probably the most wearable of the bunch and a real neutral favourite. Although it is shimmery, there are no glitter particle's in it like Let's Skate, so the consistency is much smoother. It is similar to Bare Study but more on the pink side. I will definitely be using this shade for my brides :)

Last but not least is an amazing cremesheen lipstick, Double Spin. This shade will not be for everyone, but for serious nude addicts this colour is a must have; it;s a milky pink with unique and unusual mauve undertones. It is very pale, but because of the cremesheen formula, it's creamy on the lips and not at all cakey like most nudes. You can wear it on it's own, under a lip gloss, to tone down a lipstick, or just added to the centre of the lips to create fullness.

Next from Chanel...

Illusion D'Ombre Longwear Luminous Eyeshadow in Illusioire

These are quite possibly the prettiest little pots of metallic magnificence! Although it;s a cream shadow, the formula and texture is like nothing I've seen before. The colour is beautiful, unique and unlike other creams, the shadow stays put and does not crease. It can be used as a shadow or liner and comes with the cutest little Chanel eyeliner brush. I suggest you try it immediately!

Perfection Lumière is a long-wear liquid foundation with SPF10. It applies beautifully with a brush or a sponge and has medium to full coverage flawless satin-matte finish. Originally, I thought it would be replacing my favourite and recently discontinued Pro Lumière, but Perfection Lumière is actually quite different and is not as moist or heavy-feeling on the skin.I love this foundation it evens out the skin tone and gives it a warm and luminosity. Chanel have done it again and brought out another fantastic foundation!

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Lipstick in Evasion 48

Evasion is a very beautiful, natural pink with a hint of peach colour. Very chic and a classic nude shade. This lipstick is somewhat sheer but still offers great pay-off. It would work great with a smokey eye, or a nice natural look as well. It's great for all year round, but I also  am envisioning this for summer. It glides on smoothly and does not have a perfume smell to it.

Finally, I bought two lipsticks from Tom Ford...

Tom Ford Lipstick in Sable Smoke #14

I just LOVE the packaging! This shade is a creamy caramel honey nude. It is a perfect nude for medium skin tones. It has full, smooth coverage and a non-drying formula with a beautiful finish. I usually don't like fragrances on lipsticks but this has a wonderful delicious vanilla scent. Lasting power is better than average lipstick. Has a luxurious feel on the lips and bottom line: LOVE.

Tom Ford lipstick in Black Orchid

Definitely a statement lipstick! Unique vampy colour that can be used in different techniques to get different finishes  You can dab on for a bee sting look, put in on so its full coverage or just mix it with a nude lipstick to form more dimension. Amazing colour and it's definitely not for the faint hearted!

Hope you all enjoyed my new buys, until next time...

Love & Peace Xx
